When Francis first approached me, he didn’t have a concept in mind, only a desire to create a professional identity for his new bookkeeping business. Rather than jumping straight into sketching, I took time to understand his goals, research his background, and explore what made his business unique. That process led to an unexpected discovery: the Ammaturo name itself held the inspiration for the brand. By building the identity around that story, the final logo became more than a symbol, it became something authentic, memorable, and uniquely his.
A Story Hidden Within the Name
LOGO & BRAND IDENTITY
The centerpiece of the identity is a custom tree symbol inspired by the meaning behind the Ammaturo name, which carries a strong linguistic connection to a tree, its fruit, and growth. More than a literal illustration, the mark was designed to symbolize stability, upward momentum, and the continued growth of the business.
A subtle “A” is thoughtfully integrated into the icon, creating a distinctive mark that feels intentional, meaningful, and uniquely ownable. The result is a logo that tells a story while positioning Ammaturo Bookkeeping as both professional and approachable.
